Does your organisation hit the bulls-eye by providing targeted services that meet customer need? Do your services acknowledge people’s diversity yet still encourage commonality? Are your rules and regulations clear, consistent and transparent? Does the community really have a say in what’s going on? Are your businesses, hard to hear groups and young people properly engaged?
If you answered yes to the above – good for you! But many of you have told ENCAMS that efficiency pressures, new legislation, PSA 8 targets and an ever-increasing workload are piling on the pressure. And that consultation and engagement are really difficult to deliver on.
The CSG Network Annual Conference 2007 aims to provide you with a few weapons of offence in your battle to achieve ‘cleaner, safer and greener’ communities.
Speakers will offer ideas to kick-start real community action. They’ll inform you about new training opportunities to help upskill your teams. You’ll be able to share valuable learning from social housing sector experts who have transformed tough neighbourhoods with a customer focused approach. We will showcase emerging national pilots that are tackling crime in the heart of the community, and provide a platform for members who have developed solutions that encourage young people to be environmentally responsible.
Accountability – to central government, stakeholders, the media, partners and customers – is increasingly important. This conference aims to signpost you towards workable solutions so that an increasing number of partners and customers - including businesses, young people and even offenders - can help you deliver services that get to the heart of your community and really make it tick.
The Conference also hosts the prestigious CSG Network Awards. Entries are of a particularly high standard this year. Winners will be announced during a glittering award dinner with the overall ‘Cleaner Safer Greener – Winner of the Year’ decided by a live interactive vote on the night.
