The Capital Standards Graffiti Working Group met for a special seminar on the 12th December 2006 to review the Graffiti Awareness Week which took place in October 2006.
The seminar was opened by Mark Pinnock (Vice Chair of Capital Standards) before Dr Kevin Golding-Williams from Capital Standards presented the indicative results of the graffiti awareness week in terms of media coverage, activities undertaken and improvement in local environmental quality.
The group then discussed the main lessons learnt from the week and how the lessons learnt could be applied during future weeks. The discussions of the seminar will be incorporated into a report on the Graffiti Awareness Week which will be released in January 2007 to Capital Standards members.
